Who we are
After several years spent exporting the products of the best Italian Companies manufacturing water pumps, in the faraway 1975 Alberto Fiorot established the Company COMEX to produce his own water pumps range.
Thanks to the knowledge gathered in the previous years as regards the engineering of the pumps and about the needs of the customers, the first models projected (the submersible pumps series VORTEX and the self-priming pumps series JET) had immediately success.
As early as in those first years the greatest part of the pumps manufactured were sold abroad and Alberto Fiorot and his technicians had to conceive innovative technical solutions to be in compliance with the strictest safety normative effective in particular in the North European Countries.
The resolute effort to manufacture high quality products led to the certification by TÜV already in 1985. In the following years COMEX continued its development step by step expanding several times the production site.
In 2006 Piero, the son of the founder, joined the Company.
Today we exports our products all around the world and we consider Europe our home market; in the meantime the range of our water pumps has much grown including domestic pumps, pumps for agricultural and industrial uses and also pumps for special uses.
During the last years our attention for the quality has not decreased and in 2003 our pumps got the certification by the Swedish Institute SEMKO that grants the very high quality level.
In June 2015 COMEX obtained also the ISO 9001 Certification.
Our Company has anyway kept a lean and dynamic structure able to satisfy the particular requests of our customers with whom we keep a direct and personal relationship.
Our values
The quality of our products and an efficient service to our customers are the values we have always kept ourselves faithful, since the beginning of our history.
To produce high quality products we follow precise operative choices: professional engineering, the use of the best components available in the market, carefully controlled production processes and, above all, rigorous testing on each pump produced.
Moreover we do think that “quality” does not only mean a good product but necessarily also a professional technical service to help our customers in the choice of the most suitable items for their needs, a short delivery time and an efficient after sale support.
